Our Daily Demons

This blog topic came in on request. So here we go!

Everyday that we wake up we create plans. We create a plan for our day, an order, a list of activities, a list of locations, and goals. Most people would classify a good day as one that we are able to get our goals done while sticking to our list of activities and locations for the day and a bad day being one where we do not accomplish our goals or we are thrown off of our daily plan. While all of this is true it is not the sole determining factor of a good or bad day.

Everyday we wake up with these plans and everyday things will get in the way of those plans. These are what I look to refer to as our daily demons. More times than not, it has very little to do with the things around us and much more to do with our reactions to the things around us. Having a bad day is an active choice. So why do we choose to have bad days so often? Why do we concede defeat to our daily demons so easily? Why does that conversation with our parents that may not have been so pleasant have to lead us to being upset for the rest of the day? Why do we let that really stupid driver who shouldn't be on the damn road ruin a perfectly good Bruno Mars song? Why did you just judge me based off of me listening to a Bruno Mars song? haha Why do we let our days dictate our mood?

So all these questions right? Y'all want answers?

Check it out:

You can have a bad moment and not have a bad day. CRAZY RIGHT?? Think about it, how many times have you said to yourself "this just ruined my day". I know, I have said it myself countless times but its dumb as shit. Stop being a baby. Stop letting your day dictate your mood and let your mood/attitude dictate your day! If you feel that you are not up to the task.... YOU ARE ALREADY BEHIND!!! You are amazing people and I know you can do this! Stop doubting how amazing you are. Look your daily demons in the face and kick shit down their leg! If something starts ruining your day then conquer it. After that, take a minute to just smile. Your brain will think you want to be happy. Sounds really stupid but it works. If possible , look in the mirror while you do it. You'll most likely laugh at yourself and your mood will start to shift. Then get right back in the game and make some plays. Take control of every aspect of your life. Take responsibility for your own sadness, your own happiness, your own laziness, your own ambition. Take CONTROL!!!

I appreciate all of the wonderful feedback you all have given me it really helps keep me going. I am so glad to hear how many of you I help and I want you to know that so many of you are inspirations to me.

Love you all
